6-Month Personalised Food Guide
6-Month Personalised Food Guide
Have you tried to figure out what food is triggering you?
Maybe it’s trying to find what’s making you itch or go red. Or what’s making your fatigue, bloating, bowels, or breakouts (especially on the forehead and cheeks) worse.
There’s a million things to look at when it comes to food triggers.
Allergy versus intolerance. Food chemicals and sensitivities to things like oxalates, histamine, salicylates, amines and glutamates. Your digestive capacity and your immune function. The list goes on (a long way!).
Once you fall down the wormhole of food, it can be hard to find your way out.
I feel you. I’ve felt it 1000x over as a practitioner, guiding patients through the perils of food sensitivity.
Outside of cleaning up the diet to incorporate more whole foods (and sometimes still having problems), where can you start?
Here!
I use this guide because it is taking information from your cells, and comparing compatibility with hundreds of different food items.
No more guesswork or elimination diets.
This personalised food guide requires a small hair or saliva sample, and is easy to use for children and babies (especially those suffering with inflammatory skin conditions).
It gives us great insight into what foods you are being exposed to day in and day out (sometimes several times a day) that are not compatible with your body in its current state.
This is the foundation that I start with when it comes to infants with eczema, as it gives us an immediate path forward with what formulas, skincare and personal items to avoid, and compatible substitutes.
This test is not an allergy test. Allergy testing requires a blood sample, which is not possible for infant testing. Allergy testing is assessing specific immunological reaction to specific food proteins. IgE allergy testing is done by an immunologist, and IgG food testing can be done via appointment in-clinic with myself (recommended for adults).
This food guide is assessing biocompatibility with specific whole food items. It is more comprehensive and easier to work with than allergy testing, but please bear in mind it will not pick up items you are allergic to.
If you are unsure whether this is the right thing for you or your bub, please book in a complimentary discovery call with Emily so she can advise.
Results are valid for 6 months. We recommend this test be done once to twice yearly, as results will change over time as your cellular health changes.
Retests are discounted to $250 when done within the 6 month period. Consultation is not needed in order to receive your Personalised Food Guide, though we do offer a complimentary 15 minute phone call with Emily to discuss your results after you have received them.
